| 英文描述 | Proliferative enteritis is characterized grossly by segmental mucosal hypertrophy and histologically by crypt hyperplasia with a large number of small, curved, intracellular bacteria in the apical cytoplasm of proliferating enterocytes. Commonly presents as diarrheal disease in 6-20-week-old pigs, but older animal can be affected; signs can range from subclinical to acute death or intermittent chronic diarrhea. LAWSONIA INTRACELLULARIS is the causative agent. |
